Well that stinks.
My stomach has really been good with the Metformin, much better than I anticipated. The one thing that makes it really hurt, though? CHOCOLATE!!   damn. guess that means no more chocolate for me.

try sugar free chocolate... I had the same problem, and every now and then I treat myself to a piece of SF...

I got the mini snickers and peanut butter cups packs. As long as I only eat one I don't get sick and it calms the craving.

I'm also on Metformin. It actually hasn't bothered my stomach. I've only been taking 1 pill. After this week I up the dose to 2, and then the 3rd week, I take all 3. Hopefully it still doesn't bother me. I ate snickers last night! And not the little ones, the King Size! LOL

No one told me either, I actually learned about it here and on other things I read about it. My doctor told me it might make me feel sick but never said there was anything I should avoid eating.
I have been pretty good so far. The chocolate is bad and last night I had pizza which didn't really agree too well.
