Please be careful in the heat the next 2 days
Because I am having shortness of breath, my doctor gave me strict instructions to stay in an air conditioned place for the next 2 days. I am not on bedrest but he only wants me to go from one from air conditioned place to another, and obviously to just go straight to my car and have the AC going. I used to think that the only problem with being pregnant in the heat is that there may be discomfort if you are very big. I haven't really gained weight but Dr. said there are a lot of other reasons to avoid the heat.
Even today, I had trouble walking my dog. I really should not have tried.
Be careful ladies and bring water everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is funny you posted this because I just got off the phone with my DR. I had cramping that was bothering me and the first thing he asked was are you drinking water? I of course wasn't and he said the uterus is one big muscle and dehydration causes cramping. SO DRINK UP! (water only)

My doctor asked if I drink enough water. I told him that I crave it and I easily consume gallons in a day. He said, "double that."

I am definitely going to hide out @ home today.
As far as drinking the water, I find that if you put a big bottle in the freezer for like 20 min. and the top of it gets small icey particles in it, it's so much easier to get down. I can do a liter that way in like 10- 15 min.

Definitely stay cool! When I walked out of my house this morning (8 am) the air was so stagnant...nothing left to breathe with! Try walking slow and drink a lot of fluids!

seriously...it is brutal out today! i went outside to water my plants and i couldnt take it. now im sitting in the nice cool a/c with my water bottle. i hope this isnt what the rest of the summer will be like!!!
