if you fail the 3 hr glucose test, that means you have GD right? Ok but does it go away after the baby is born? Is there any danger to the baby if you have GD?

I am not dealing with this well at all.

Hosnestly, this was why I wanted 3 dogs and to travel the world instead of having a baby for most of my life.

I always thought of Steel Magnolias when she died from diabetes after giving birth. An irrational fear I know, but a HUGE fear of mine anyway.

Mine went away!
Don't be scared. The diet stinks and you have to watch what you eat but I swear I never ate healthier.
If you are controlling it by diet you won't have to take insulin and you will be ok!
Did you get a meal plan yet>

I went for another glucose test postpartum and I was back to normal!

yeah i had it 2x's (out of 3 pg) and we are treating me now like i have it anyway just to be safe. it went away afterwards for me. It can pose health risks to you and the baby if you dont take care of it. but most folks are just fine during and afterwards. no need to freak out.
