I failed...
the 1 hour glucose test by 14 points  If you remember my other post, this was a real fear of mine being that for the last 15 years I was hypoglycemic and now to be the opposite?!?!? This is a huge swing in blood sugar levels and I am just so overly upset about this. So I will take the 3 hour on Saturday I guess. What happens if you fail that?

I am sorry about the one hour. A whole bunch of people do not pass it & then do OK for the 3 hour, so I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
If the 3 hour does not turn out well, then your Dr can do a few things, some of which are alter your diet or put you on insulin. I am pretty sure that most Drs just change your diet first & monitor your blood. I would do a search on here as a few gals recently had to do some treatment

Oh yes I remember your post about this. 
I need to do the one hour in a few weeks. My doctors said quite a few people will fail their 1st test. I asked about failing the 2nd and she said that my diet would need to change.

Well, I can completely understand.
i failed my 1 hour test, and then passed the 3 hour test. I will think happy thoughts for you.
Did you fast before the 1 hour test? I was a moron and ate a chocolate chocolate chip muffin an hour before I drank the glucose drink and it pushed me over the edge.
They will make you fast before the 3 hour to see how your body processes the sugar. Hopefully you will pass this one.
If you do fail, they will just show you how to change your diet. My best friend had GD and she was fine! Good luck!

Im sorry! That stinks! But please don't worry before the 3 hr - I did and it was so stupid because everything ended up being totally fine - and it wasn't even close. My dr. said there are a lot of "false positives" as he put it on the 1 hr - so that is probably what it is!

I am not pg (as you know  ) but I dont see how this could happen. How could you have too much sugar if you dont eat sugar?

I had GD with my Twin girls..mine was easily controlled by diet.
I tested my blood sugar 4x per day and kept track of what I was eating..
I went to a nutritionist who gave me a food list of ideas of what to eat an estimate of how many calories to eat per day..
I failed my 1 hour this time around and past the 3 hour..I think it may have to do with the fact that I have basically been following that old GD for almost my entire pregnancy...
