Those who spotted after 6 weeks...
was it more of a discharge type of spotting or legitimate spotting and did you cramp (AF type) along with it.
I know this is a crazy question but I am literally analyzing my symptoms. If you want to FM bc you don't want to post please do. Thanks - I appreciate your answers.

Re: Those who spotted after 6 weeks...
I was crampy my whole first trimester, and it began about 1 week before BFP. My initial spotting was brownish the first day, then orange-ish, then pink for 2 days.

Re: Those who spotted after 6 weeks...
First I'd like to say I spotted, bled and had brown discharge for 2 straight weeks with some heavy cramping during my first tri and then continued to spot occasionally until 20 weeks. I am presently in my 30 weeks preggo.
Second, try not to over-analyze. I have had two miscarriages. One with brown discharge, the other without a single drop of blood nor cramps. After losing hb at 10 weeks, I waited for 3 weeks to m/c naturally but never had a single symptom. Whe only way to truly know is to have a sono and see how baby is doing. Try not to drive yourself nuts (AS I DID ALOT! I NEVER STOP ANALYZING) Enjoy and hope for the best. Good luck.

Re: Those who spotted after 6 weeks...
The first time I bled it was bright red blood, but only really when I wiped - there was nothing on the pad. I wasn't really crampy, just kind of sore (if that makes sense). The 2nd time I bled, it was still bright red and it was a little more dischargy (like mucus). I wasn't crampy that time at all.

Re: Those who spotted after 6 weeks...
I spotted brown beginning the day after my BFP (dont' know if that was 4 weeks or 5 b/c I don't know when I conceived) and it continued until about 8 weeks...then it stopped and started again around 11 or 12 weeks...all brown. It was a good amount every day, not enough to fill a panytliner but I definitely wanted to change it when I got home from work. Dr. said it was all implantation.
It stopped again like a week later. All is fine and I'm now 27 weeks!!!

Re: Those who spotted after 6 weeks...
Well... I didn't spot all day and then boom -there was a lot more on my panty liner - still dark brown... Less cramping but more spotting/discharge.
FReaking out a bit. UGH
I guess I should call the office but is this considered an emergency? So confused.

I would call if it is freaking you out. Atleast they can give you peace of mind with a sono.

Re: Those who spotted after 6 weeks...
I called and a doc told me that it is good that it is not red and to call the office tomorrow. My first sono is scheduled for Wed night but I don't think I can wait that long!
Thanks for all of your replies.

Re: Those who spotted after 6 weeks...
I have spotted a few times. The first time it was similar to the first day of a period bleeding - not heavy, but bright red and small clots. (Sorry I know its TMI), the other times it was very light pink or brown. No cramping any of the times.
