is it just me?
does anyone else get offended when people see you or see a picture of you and say
"OMG YOUR HUGE?"
I know they don't mean overall...and they are referring to the belly...but still, i just don't think it's a very nice thing to say

yup people are so insensitive, it doesn't matter if you were skinny or fat before, i found women LOVE to point out everything that has changed with your body since becoming pregnant

oh my god - i just looked at your picture and you are SO NOT HUGE! Clearly your friend has never been pregnant! I am only 12 weeks andi will probably be bigger than you in about 6 weeks!!!!
Try not to take it in a bad way though - maybe she means well.

I'm right there with you. I hear that or WOW you're ready to pop all the time - and even other more insensitve things that I've posted recently.
I keep thiniking "Have you seen a woman at 9 month pregnant? I'm not even close to that yet."
I never realized how considerate I actually was before I got pregnant when I would tell preggos how great they looked or how cute their belly was - AFTER I asked how they were doing/feeling.

I hate that, and I've been called "fatty"...thats the worst. Meanwhile, I've gained hardly any weight other than in my belly...which means the person is obviously just referring to my belly but still...it makes me want to kick them in the face!
eta: your right, bad choice of words...people don't think. I'd probably respond w/a "THANKS! I love being called huge! LOL" Make her feel bad but joke at the same time.
