rough day
I am having a sad day today. All I want to do is cry.
Updated: Thanks for all the replies.I am having a much better day today. I love this board because I don't feel so alone, but I wish none of us had to be here.

the same thing happened with me when I first started going to the dr.. my dad told my mom and they thought I was pregnant and bugged me about it for weeks.

Would you be able to talk to your mom. I hadn't told mine at first, but then she started making the same assumptions when I had Dr. appointments so I decided to tell her and now she is my confidante.
I'm sorry you are having such a rough time...This can be a very long and ardous journey.

I am so sorry you are feeling like this. It is so hard. I would try and find someone to talk to, a friend or even your mother. I finally broke down and told my sister what I was going thru and I am so glad I did. It has given me someone to confide in and someone else to talk to besides DH.
I know how you feel about the waiting. It is one of the hardest things I have been trying to deal with during this process. It seems like all you do is wait, and wait.

It's really hard to do this with just telling your DH. Everyone asks too many questions.

 I am sure that is not the call you needed.
have you considered talking to your mom? Honestly, she may give you the shoulder that you need right now and a lot of support and love. Of course, I don't know your mom so maybe she would not help.But if she may be a great support resource. This stuff always makes me think "would my daughter come to me if she was in this situation"...and I honestly can say that I hope she would.
You may want to speak to your DH in a very serious discussion that you NEED him to be supporitve. If he can't be or has reasons for not wanting to move forward with treatments then maybe you can find an therapist that deals with infertility and can help you with your feelings.
I hope today is a better day.

I wish it was easier, but we all know its not - this board is a great resource for those of us who have kept this journey private
We've been dealing with IF for 3 years now, and initially we decided not to tell anyone. I never figured it would 3 years, 6 IUIs and 3 failed IVFs later...however (getting to the point here) - we have decided to tell our families about it now - the effort of 'hiding' is just not worth the stress anymore

I totally hear you on the family thing. About the Dr-can you tell him you will use OPK's as long as you have negatives you should be fine for the hsg...GL
