What classes did you take and when?
I think I'm a little behind in signing up for classes (I'm 27 weeks) and I'm not sure what exactly we should sign up for. I think definitely breastfeeding and some sort of general birthing class (I want to know all of the options, not just Lamaze, for example). I'd appreciate any suggestions of classes you found helpful and when I should be attending these classes.

We took like every class out there:
early pregnancy (you're past this by now)
labor/delivery (which included C-section)--most hospitals offer this for free
lamaze (usually starts around 28 wks)
Infant care (goes over the basics: feeding/diapers/burping)
breastfeeding
Oh & we also did a childhood emergency class (another free one) that goes over the dangers (poisoning/drowning, etc.)
What hospital are you delivering at?
We took most of these at Good Sam.

I would love to take the emergency class - I need to look into that one.
We have only taken the baby care basics class and don't plan on any others.

I took some free classes at BRU on BF, baby care.
I bought a DVD on childbirth (laugh and learn).. not just Lamaze

I had a lamaze instructor over to the house for a private lesson for DH and I. She tailored it to what we wanted to know.
I procrastinated and did it around 37 weeks

I'm due 8/28.
We took a Baby Care class a few weeks ago.
We are taking a breast feeding class in early July.
Lamaze starts July 15th and we'll be done with it July 29th.
I read the LIF pregnancy and parenting boards, books and parenting magaiznes.
