Socialite gossip columnist Claudia Cohen, who brought New Yorkers her savvy and edgy observations on the rich and famous, died yesterday. She was 57.
The end came shortly before 5p.m. at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center with her family, including her daughter Samantha, ex-husband Ron Perelman and brother James at her bedside.
Sources close to the family said she had been suffering from stomach cancer that was first diagnosed six years ago.

I think they were engaged and then it was broken off....I am surprised that Ron Perelman was at her side...I think they had a bad divorce or maybe that was one of his other wives
