glass breaker sensors
we're getting an alarm system and they wanted to put in the audio glass break sensor for the two sliding glass doors that we have. does anyone know if its worth it or not?

We have one glass break sensor in each room.
IMO, its worth it because if you don't have motion detectors, the intruder could just break the glass in the window or door and walk thru without setting off the alarm. Now if you are going to have motion detectors, then it might not be worth it.
(We didnt setup motion detectors on the main level of the house because of our kitty.)
They work, BTW, we tested them by breaking lightbulbs around the house.

i've got them and would get them if I were you. Even slamming the fridge door gets them going.
