can I...
I started the metformin yesterday (and so far not bad!).. my doctor said that if I ovulate with the met in the next few months that when I go back in sept. for my next appointment, I will be good to go for TTC...
DH and I haven't been using anything when we bd.. if I did happen to O and get pg, would that be bad being on the metformin?

It won't be bad at all if you get PG, in fact many women stay on metformin for the 1st trimester to prevent miscarriage. Good luck to you.

Nope, my Doc had me stay on metformin in the beginning of my pregnancy. Although I stopped because my tummy could not take it in the first tri too much

I am almost 9weeks and I am still on 1500mg of Met. I was told it helps to prevent m/c in pcos women. I will be taken off when I hit the 2nd trimester.
