I am talking like a tub/shower combo. Probably about 20 to 25 sq. feet of wall space.
If so, about how much did you pay? I'd need to rip out the existing tile, buy new tile (I have an idea of how much this would be) and pay someone to re-tile.
I am trying to decide if I want this to be a project.
Thanks!

Most tile guys charge about 5 to 6 dollars per square foot for wall tile. If you need the sheetrock replaced after you remove the tile (if it's damaged from removing the tile or there's water damage or it's not green board) then it will cost you more.

A quick warning, bathroom projects easily spin out of control and can end up costing thousands. Once the tile in the shower is done, you will probably notice other things to change. We started out thinking we would face lift our bathrooms in our house and ended up gutting them to the studs. It's really the only way to get good results.
