I made my decision
Not going with my old boss to the new firm.
For all the reasons that were discussed before:
adding 45 minutes to my commute for no more money and no promises on a bonus.
Also, with all the crap that's going on in my life, the added pressure would probably kill me.
My boss is really bummed but she understands. Maybe in the future.
Who knows, maybe she'll hate it there and come back!!

We left the door open..maybe she can work some magic for me to come there, but for now we both know it won't work.
She told me I could work remotely, but how would my co-workers view that? We just don't know the culture that well yet. I don't want my peers resenting me.
I'm sure they do here already from the time I've spent away from work. At least I have years in here where I've proven myself already.
