With Lindsay Lohan in rehab and Paris Hilton on her way to the slammer, even the celebs were gossiping on the red carpet of the MTV Movie Awards Sunday night.

We asked former "View" host Debbie Matenopoulos about Lindsay's mom, Dina Lohan, whose TV aspirations have been said to involve a chair on "The View" or a new reality show.

"No!" she cried, clutching her throat and staggering a little. "When did that happen? Come on, seriously? She needs to be worried about her daughter right now, not being on TV."

Matenopoulos went on: "I'm sorry to say that, but it's true. Lindsay is not the only one in this situation that needs to be held accountable - her parents need to be held accountable, [and] everyone that lets her into the clubs, too. I'm sorry, but that's bull----."

Jon Voight shook his head sadly when reporters asked if he'd yet met his grandchildren, the brood being raised by daughter Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

One celebrity who avoided controversy by staying away was Justin Timberlake. Both his ex, Cameron Diaz, and current flame, Jessica Biel, were presenters — leading some to predict a tense encounter.

But the show's organizers removed JT's name from the list of expected guests at the last moment. A rep for Timberlake said, "Justin was never scheduled to attend the awards. He's on tour in Europe."

Lily Allen followed up an interview in the U.K. press in which she called herself an "alcoholic" with a spot of nightclubbing in the Hamptons. The songbird, 22, was drinking vodka and tequila after a performance Saturday at the Social Life magazine party at Stereo by the Shore.

Don't mess with Rihanna. "I'm the oldest child with two brothers," she tells the new issue of Complex magazine, out June 12. "We used to fight — and when I say 'fight,' I don't mean arguments, I mean physically fight. I hit the older one in his face with a glass bottle. … My mom was pretty upset." She also says she has her eye on one particular Hollywood hunk. "What's that guy's name who was in that movie with Jessica Alba? Paul... um ... 'Fast and the Furious' ... Paul something ... I think he's really hot." Memo to Paul Walker: call this lady.

THE mystery brunette posing sexily with a knife at Lindsay Lohan's throat in photos that ran in yesterday's New York Post is Vanessa Minnillo, who might have a hard time getting a new job because of the risqué party pictures.

One of the photos from last summer shows Minnillo pulling down Lohan's tank top. Another shows her with face upturned, eyes closed and lips parted, as if about to kiss the wild child, who is now 20 and in rehab.

Minnillo, 26, was host of MTV's "TRL" and New York correspondent for "Entertainment Tonight," both Viacom shows, until her contract expired in April. The former date of Derek Jeter and current girlfriend of Nick Lachey did not renew with either show.

Last week, she co-hosted the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico City with Mario López without incident. But the beauty is gaining a bad rep in the TV industry for her diva-like behavior at work and hard partying outside the studio.

While friends of Minnillo insist it was she who decided not to renew the contract with "ET," insiders say her bosses at CBS Paramount soured on her when she covered the Grammys in February. Minnillo was not assigned to the Academy Awards in March.

When producers flew her to Los Angeles to cover the Grammys, "she was extremely high maintenance," said one source. "She insisted they fly her own hair and makeup people and her personal assistant out with her every time she flew to L.A. She only flew first class and stayed at the Four Seasons, and then she didn't want to work.

"Vanessa wants to be a celebrity, not interview them," said the source. "She wouldn't conduct post-show interviews because she wanted to party. She expected to be paid a full-time salary for a part-time job."

Page Six spotted Minnillo at one of the fall fashion shows changing seats for 15 minutes until she was satisfied. She's been known to bark orders at cocktail waitresses and cause scenes when she goes club hopping at night.

In April, we reported that Minnillo had moved in with Lachey in Los Angeles, where she's hoping for a movie career.

A rep for Minnillo denied any "diva behavior" and told Page Six, "She chose to leave 'ET' because her contract ended. This is the first I've heard about any bad behavior."

GOLDEN-locks couple Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are on the rocks, sources tell Page Six, and her latest solo romp around New York was a warning to her beau to shape up. Hudson was overheard complaining to friends at party promoter Danny A's birthday party at Marquee about her tumultuous relationship with the "frat pack" actor. "She said that if he didn't step up and make time for her, then she was over it," reports our source. "A few days after that, she broke up with him over the phone." Last week, the single mom hit parties at Gramercy Park Hotel's Rose Bar, Pink Elephant, Marquee and Tenjune night after night with friends. Hudson flew back to Los Angeles on Thursday, according to a source who isn't sure what their relationship status will be when they reunite. "They've broken up and gotten back together a million times," said the snitch. "She's complaining to everyone that she made all these sacrifices and he can't be in a committed relationship."

WHEN Christie Brinkley threw Peter Cook out of the house, she didn't even let him take a coffee table. Cook, whose affair with 19-year-old Diana Bianchi ruined his 10-year marriage to the supermodel and left him broke, just plunked down a relatively piddling $2 million for Glamour magazine publisher Bill Wackermann's home in Sag Harbor. A source explained to Page Six, "Peter tried to get the house fully furnished since he had nothing" after the breakup. But Wackermann declined to give Cook his home furnishings.
