Could someone help me find similar bedding to this?
I LOVE this look from Anthropologie but the duvet is soooooooo thin. DH and I want a comforter that is thicker, but I love this color and pattern. Has anyone seen anything similar? Thanks!

I love that!
I haven't seen anything similar in my travels... but what about using a big thick down comforter inside the duvet?
So you mean put the duvet over the comforter? That may be too many layers. Plus the whole set with shams is $450

that is what a duvet cover is for...to cover a comforter. Have you seen the white ones, no designs on it? Thats the ones that you use inside the duvet. you can get them thick or thin depending on what you want.

I have a set from Anthropologie and while it's thin, in the summer I leave it unfilled and in the winter I fill it with a duvet. If we get chilly (in the summer) I'll throw on another light blanket.
LOVE the set!

I think I'm a bit confused about what a duvet is. I keep hearing that people put it "inside" and "fill it". Is a duvet hollow, and it zippers, so you actually put a comforter literally INSIDE of it? So its not a layer on top of the comforter?
So if the anthropologie duvets zipper, I may be able to get one...

Most duvets either have a zipper or buttons on top and its like an envelope for the comforter. This way you can take off the duvet, wash it and put the comforter back in it.

I think she meant she fills it with a comforter (and not a duvet).
But a duvet is meant as a cover for a comforter. Like a pillow case...
Except they come with zippers closures, button closures or snaps.
You put your comforter inside of the duvet.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! You girls made me so happy! DH and I hated how thin the duvet was and we thought THAT was supposed to be the blanket/comforter. This is great!!
ETA: can you tell how clueless I am about decorating?

Re: Could someone help me find similar bedding to this?
My understanding is that a duvet is a quilt/blanket filled with some sort of fiber (down, etc) and usually has some sort of cover - the duvet cover.
I think it's just semantics but confusing, nevertheless

a duvet cover covers a duvet or down comforter. the duvet or comforter is placed inside the cover. duvets are available in a variety of warmths (light, medium and extra).

I think some places call a duvet cover a duvet. And some call it a duvet cover. Technically it should be called a duvet cover so it can be confusing. That's why I like the term "comforter cover". I looked at the site and Im pretty sure this is a comforter cover which you can fill. That must make it a lot easier than trying to find something similar. LOL @ the confusion...but how cool that you found out you can get the bedding you love.
