Cutworms are wiping out my cukes....
I am so pizzed right now...there is only one cuke left, which means I have to go and buy more.

I put plastic cups with the bottoms cut out around my tomato plants to prevent the cut worms from getting them. I stuck part of the cup in the ground and then the rest is above ground...if that makes sense.

Yeah, I should have done that...but since we had just dug out the garden I didn't think it was necessary.

Don't know much about cut worms - but I just tried the ladybugs with aphids and they worked a treat. $12 for 1200 keep them in fridge till dusk them put them around the plant - next morning they had done their work and left!
