My mouth is killing me!!
I got braces put on two weeks ago, and boy are they tearing up the inside of my mouth! I have a tear on the inside of my left cheek. It is flapping around....lol
They gave me wax to put on but I'm sorry...if I have to brush my teeth 4-5 times a day...I can't do it with the wax on and if you don't change it constantly, it gets all icky. To top it off...I can't chew ANY food. I either cut up all my food so small that I can swallow it or I eat soup or anything else mushy. I went to eat a pickle the other day and almost bit into it...then I said to myself "what the heck am I doing?" Can't even eat that anymore. This sux

 It will get better. I had braces in my 20's and while it was a PITA, it was totally worth it in the end.

I feel your pain. I got mine back in March and the first few weeks were just awful, I avoided the wax completely because one of my ortho's assistants said my skin had to adjust to them and if i could go without using it to avoid it.
My mouth got cut up, few weeks later I was fine, until I went back month later to get it tighter and a thicker brace added on the sides and that cut me up again. I noticed it takes about 2 weeks after each time to adjust.

same here. love the clear isnt it great. my bottom ones havent gone on yet, i still have my bottom wisdom teeth which are impacted and right on the nerve

Yeah...I am really happy about the ceramic and the bottom ones you can't even really see, so it wasn't a biggie for me to have the regular kind down there.

I had braces during high school. I was on the wrestling team, so I spent a lot of time pulling the inside of my mouth off of the braces!  You get used to it after a while. Before you know it, they'll be off, and you'll be glad you had it done.

OMG! I am sure you got cut up pretty bad. Thats the way I feel though...my cheek gets caught....it's so gross
