Work vent
we have a temp. i don't know where her brain is at times. i trained her on inputting. trained plenty of other times. i feel it goes in one ear and out the other. she doesn't pay attention. its like i wastee my time. i hope my boss gets rid of her soon. like she didn't know what duplicate payment meant. the word duplicate i would think would give it away

That's annoying. I would tell your boss that she is not getting it so he knows now before having them there becomes useless.

Ugh...I feel you Gail. At my old job I did a lot of training and some people needed you to hold their hand through everything...for months! One girl I finally said...you're on your own. Kind of like a sink or swim type thing...yeah, umm...she quit - no notice.

Uugh...you just brought back memories.
I had to train a girl to take my spot when I left on maternity.
I worked in daycare, with babies.
I trained her for A MONTH and on my last day she was STILL asking questions!
I wished my boss the best of luck, clocked out, and left!
I visited today, ( I keep in touch with my boss and 2 others whom I love dearly..they are like my moms, but, at work) and I was kind of shocked to see the girl I trained is still there....Its been a little bit over 5 months.
I guess she "got it". Everyone seems to be good with her. Maybe things will look up.
