Question about Jury Duty?
How long after receiving the questionnaire (where you have 10 days to respond) do you get called? It's been so long since I've been called for it and I am DYING to go!!! I received the questionnaire about a month ago..and still nothing.

It can take a couple of months...
ETA: You know you can volunteer for Jury Duty whenever you want... so you don't have to wait for them to call you if you really want to serve.

AWWW MAN!! With my luck i'll get called when I am 9 months pregnant! I'm due in August...
I have volunteered..and they never called me. They looked at me like I was crazy. I live in the Bronx..so I guess they found it "weird"..

I got the questionnaire back in March, got the summons a few weeks ago and this week I am on telephone standby. I think I'll be called tomorrow though.
I'm sort of looking forward to it, I have never been called before!

I got called last year when I was 8 months pregnant. No one wanted to put me on a case because I told them I had too many doctors appointments.
I volunteered so I could serve while was pregnant so I wouldn't have to after and have to find a sitter etc.

I got the questionnaire in January and got my Jury Duty notice about 3 weeks ago.
I ended up only have to go for one day
