I think I belong on this board
Can I join you?
Many of you know that DH is in remission from testicular cancer. On top of that, he had a huge vericocele removed in Jan, with a lot of complications. DH had a semen analysis done recently. While just about everything improved (volume is excellent, motility improved) his morphology did not improve at all. I believe less than 1% were considered normal.
I've tried to do a lot of research on this and from what I have gathered, it will be difficult to conceive on our own. I think we'll have to do IUI.
So... I think I belong here.  I am quite sad about this... just like most of you, I never thought I would have difficulty getting pregnant.

I'm so sorry 
My DH's morphology is bad, too and the doctor told us that morphology is the most difficult thing to fix, even with the removal of a varicocele.
We did IUIs, and I had two successful ones (even though they are ending poorly) so you can definitely get pregnant from IUIs even with bad morphology (DH has 5% normal shapes).

I'm so sorry you have to join this board, with all your problems, this should not be one of them.
That being said - you might be better off doing IVF with ICSI - this way the eggs are fertilized and you have a much better chance of having a successful pregnancy.

I agree. I'm no expert on IVf but it makes sense.

We also have morphology issues. Gery is right, IVF with ICSI is the best route.
We will be taking this road later this year if the my current IUI doesn't take.

Sorry after all you went through , that you have to be here as well. I hope you find strength from all the ladies past and present who post here.
My DH had very low morph too...average 5%....We tried IUI but got nothing ( one possible chemical PG) and then got PG on our first IVF.
Have faith...
