KITCHEN CABINETS
What is the most popular color/wood.
We are flipping a house and want to put the most popular cabinets in.

I dont know about most popular but Danielle and I like darker woods. Then of course some people also like lighter woods....So maybe something in the middle...
Where is the house you are flipping?

That's our favorite color. When we redo our kitchen, it will probably be that, or close to it. Our entertainment unit is honey oak, and a lot of our furniture is that, or close.

I personally like maple wood. It isn't as grainy as oak and not as dark as cherry. It is in between.

I like maple a lot too - but then I like a more ornate cabinet.
If you go with a plainer cabinet, as I did in my kitchen, I prefer a darker wood (I got paprika cherry).

on the show "flip this house" on HGTV they always suggest using light wood. Don't do cherry or walnut, a light oak or maple would be more marketable for everybody.
