ebay help
I've never sold anything on ebay before...bought lots though LOL! I'm wondering if anyone has any pointers to share regarding selling. I just posted an auction and the pic is so small, I didn't pay for gallery...is thatthe way it is unless you upgrade? Tiny?

Re: ebay help
Have you tried resizing the picture in Photoshop? Or maybe it's the site you're using for your image hosting?

Re: ebay help
Always try to do a gallery for an item unless it is SO generic that you don't need a picture. Fr example, if you were selling a brand new TMX Elmo, I wouldn't say you need a gallery pic b/c everyone knows what it looks like (p.s. ALWAYS do the free pic in th elisting, but not the additional gallery". If you are selling a black, longsleeved J Crew, V-neck wool sweater size Large, list it that way and add the pic. The more descriptors you give, the better chance you have of selling it (IMO). Also, whatever you are selling, research it first and see what others have paid for it in the past (click on selling, seller resources & completed listings). I have sold things for a low price that I had no idea could have gone for 4x as much! Just things you learn as you go!

Re: ebay help
I always do a search for the item first to see what others are selling it for and actually getting. I only do the free picture.

Re: ebay help
I always do a gallery listing (which is the pic). Its shown to increase sales over 40-60%. I also tend to start auctions about a $1-$5 less than what they go for.
