What I would do is see what they have to offer and see if your current employer can match that (if it's a good deal). You are entitled to your maternity leave, so don't feel bad about that. They have to realize that your life is different now and there may need to be some changes.

I think I would absolutely explore other options based on:
No raise in 3 years
Not a good financial outlook for your company.
I think giving 2 weeks' notice is sufficient unless you're a director/vp
