How do I find out if someone really is a stockbroker?
Not to go into a long story, but I need to verify, for someone if someone else really has a stockbrokers lic.
Where would I find that info?

They have a licence number and are required to give it to you if you ask.

Any person or firm stating that they are licensced is regulated by the NASD (National Assoiciate of Securities Dealers.)
