Geico Cavemen Get Their Own Show
ABC will premiere a brand new sitcom revolving around the Geico cavemen. The commercials are funny. But are it THAT funny?
Can’t get enough of those kooky Geico cavemen? Well, ABC is hoping you can’t as they have a buddy sitcom revolving around those guys in the works. The show aptly titled “Cavemen” will premiere this fall, though none of the commercial’s actors will be in the Tuesday night series.

There's a big *uproar* over the fact that this will be a new fall show but they cancelled Jericho (I thought the caveman show was going to be on CBS??).
Hmmm ... now I need to find the ABC article to see what people were mad about since I'm confusing the two!! 
Okay, that uproar was that George Lopez was cancelled but they are putting the Caveman crap on ...

Not sure how it will go over. People either love the Caveman commercials or hate them. Not sure how well a 1-minute commercial will translate into a 30-minute show...

I thought by the 4th commercial or so they had already beaten the joke to death.
And yes, Jericho was cancelled--I think it was just announced yesterday.

My DH is p'od about Jericho being cancelled. He LOVED that show. But...he likes the Caveman commercials...he'll probably watch this show.
