I CAN'T BELIEVE I did this
So, yesterday, I FINALLY got my wedding thank-you notes in the mail. Yes, I know they were late going out, but it's been a crappy year so far (not marriage-related, just in the one-crisis-after-another sense). So, I had intended to mail them at the end of April. Started stamping them, etc. DH spent the better part of 3 weeks in the hospital, so everything got pushed to the wayside. Yesterday, I finished stamping them (with 41 cent stamps) and mailed them all.
The problem: The half-dozen or so I stamped in April had 39 CENT stamps on them! And, because I was completely brain-dead about the whole thing, no return address. And, except for 1, I don't know who had the old stamps. Aside from calling everyone who gave us a gift to see if they got the note, I have NO IDEA what to do. I think calling people to check is kind of tacky, but not nearly as bad as anyone thinking we're just an ungrateful couple who couldn't be bothered thanking them.

YOu'll get them back asking for the right amount of postage, so you'll know who got them and who didn't.

No she won't because she didn't put a return address.
Maybe call the post office to see if they get sent back there.

I had heard on the news that the post office was giving everyone a grace period of a couple of days on the increase. Hope they get delivered for you.

Ya never know maybe they will send them. I sent a card a week or so to my friends PO box. It was addressed:
Jane Doe
Po Box
Her City, NY
And she got it. I never put the box # or the zip code.
