How UNSAFE do I feel?????
I got a flyer in my door when I got home today for an "Anti-Gang" presentation they are going to have at the local library put on by the Police Department.
I mean, I know I don't live in Pleasantville, but 
Should I go to learn more or are there things I am better off NOT knowing?

It's scary to think about however I feel like it's good to know what's going on in the area and be aware of certain things. Although, there are times that I'd rather not know so I see where you're coming from.

If the police are placing it in your door, than I would want to know.
The gang presence on LI is HUGE. When I served Grand Jury, 98% of the cases brought before us were gang related.

And it's where people would least expect it, in many cases!!
I would go - obviously the cops have a reason to have an information session.
