I HATE WALMART!
My parents are trying to buy Jared a big wooden swingset at Walmart. They just came into stock this morning and I went down to pay for it for her. The girl at the register kept asking the stock boy to check the back 10 million times...but he was too busy flirting with the girls at the check out. He kept ignoring her. I waited for 45 minutes for them to tell me there aren't any left when I called this morning and they told me there were 5. The lady was like...Well...Walmart lies.
W T F!!!
I said...maybe if your workers actually did their job then we'd know for sure if it was in stock or not. Thanks for wasting my time.
Also, I hate when they hand you your receipt and you say thank you and they go...Mmmm hmmmm.
Now I'm calling up other Walmart stores to see if they have this swingset and I've been on hold for 15 minutes.
I think I might kill someone today.

I totally understand. We got our patio set from Walmart and the Islandia location was horrible. I won't shop there again!

I would def go right above the lazy employees and speak with a manager. No promises there either, but I would make sure you are heard. I mean - you went there for nothing!
Hope Jared gets his swingset soon!

There are so many reasons why I don't even think about even entering that store... mostly on the corporate/global level.
They are the largest employer in America... scarey if the service you received is typical.
I wouldn't put it passed Walmart to "bait and switch" or not fulfill advertised specials.

My neighbors got a great swingset for their 4 year old daughter at BJ's. Maybe you should try there!

the managers are the worst!!!
i've had issues with the walmart near where i used to live!
i was looking for a dvd at christmas time. i kept being told that the next morning they'd be out. like a s u c k e r, i kept going back. i, eventually, told the manager, he just smiled and said sorry.
w t f?!
this is my long way of saying I FEEL YOUR PAIN!

It sux. Period.
I thought KMart was bad but Walmart takes the cake.
If I never set foot in one again it will be too soon!

I also offciall hate WalMart as of yesterday!
I bought some curtains and some floor mats for my car. The floor mats were big and bulky since it was the set of 4. SO.. it does not fit in a bag.
The door man sees me hauling the bag and floor mats and decides to ask for my receipt. As I stop, a man goes by with 4 bags.
So now I am annoyed. That how it went
Me: why don't you ask for his receipt?
Moron: Your item is not in a bag
Me: Are you kidding? You choose to pick on the 8 months pregnant woman instead of that guy because my floor mats are not in a bag
Moron: that's just the store policy
Me: Here is my receipt
Moron: makes a mark on my receipt
Me: Do you see the floor mats? Do you see how big it is? NOW... do you see your Wal-Mart bag? It's not going to fit, RIGHT????? But that would require some COMMON SENSE.
I was so close to tell him that that's probably why he works as the door receipt moron... but I did not!
