baby shower ?
I didn't invite anyone I work with to my wedding in October '06 and therefore none of the women were invited to the bridal shower (due to my big family and not enough space in the hall)....they all knew this and were fine with it...they actually collectively got me a gift anyway which was really nice of them.
Question, should I invite them to my baby shower? They are all so interested in my pregnancy and ask me loads of questions, etc and I really care about all of them a lot, however, I do not talk to anyone outside of work. I've worked here for 4 years. I don't want it to look like I'm fishing for gifts...I'd be inviting them because I wanted them there. What would you do?

Do you know if you are having a work shower? We always do work showers, so I think it is asking a lot to ask people for more gifts for another shower.

I would invite them. I have been invited to baby showers for co-workers even though we are not social out of work but it's a great event to celebrate.

I didn't invite any of my co-workers to my wedding nor my bridal shower either...we kind of keep things strictly professional here but they threw me a bridal shower and I kind of know the same will be with the baby shower. They're all also very interested in my pregnancy and have hidden treats for me everytime I come by which I think its so cute...but I keep work at work.

I agree, but I don't think there will be a work shower (they never did it for anyone else)
