MOODY megastarlet Kate Bosworth made it a "girl's night" after getting in a tiff with her boyfriend, James Rousseau. The two were spotted bickering at Seventh Avenue and 10th Street at about 7 p.m. last Thursday. Our spy said, "He was trying to hail a cab, but he couldn't get one fast enough for Kate. She then started walking away to hail a cab herself. She was p - - - - d." Later, Bosworth was seen bar-hopping in the East Village with Helena Christensen - who evidently had a limo, which picked them up from East 11th Street bar Angels & Kings at 11:30.

BARBARA Bush, in tight jeans and a sexy top, showed up at Arena nightclub Friday night around 1 a.m with about 10 friends and a Secret Service detail dressed in matching white linen shirts "so it was hard to miss them," said our witness. Sipping Veuve Cliquot Champagne between dances, the first daughter was swarmed by a United Nations of playboys "like bees to honey . . . she took the fedora hat off one admirer and wore it the rest of the night." The presidential pixie and her entourage left at 3 a.m. for destinations unknown.

KIM Kardashian has learned she can have it both ways. The celebutard - famous for being Paris Hilton's friend and for starring in a Hilton-esque sex tape with former boyfriend Ray J - is in talks with "Extra" to be a correspondent and "E!" to do a reality show. But both "jobs" were in peril because of the sex tape being widely distributed by Vivid Video. Kardashian - who once claimed she had nothing to do with the sale of the tape and was "furious" about it - happens to be good friends with Vivid's chairman, Steven Hirsch. Yesterday, Hirsch announced he was halting sales of the video because of a "personal decision." A source tells us, "They have become good friends, and Steve felt bad that the video's release could harm her career." So Kim ended up getting publicity and big money from the porn tape while managing to remain a sympathetic victim.

SAY it ain't so, Petra Nemcova! The tsunami-surviving supermodel, who just broke up with fey singer James Blunt, rebounded with Paris Hilton's ex, Stavros Niarchos. Our eagle-eyed spy caught the two making out at Bungalow 8 recently as they partied with Niarchos' oil-heir friend Brandon Davis. "She was grinding him," our witness said. "It was pretty gross. I mean, he used to sleep with Paris. Eww." A rep for Nemcova said, "I haven't heard of this."

Lindsay Lohan has been seeing British scene-maker Calum Best for a matter of months, and already he's said to be stepping out on her.

Model Sara Kova tells us a tomcattin' Best put the moves on her last Friday at a club - while Lindsay was in the other room!

Kova crossed paths with Best last Friday in the Bahamas, at the opening of the Cove at Atlantis.

"We'd exchanged looks," says Kova, who was wearing some very tight shorts. She'd seen him at Janet Jackson 's fireworks-spangled show, and they both ended up at the nightclub Aura.

"I was walking to the ladies' room when I passed him walking from the men's room. He gave me a smile. Then he put his hands on my hips and turned me toward the wall, like he was a cop who was about to frisk me. He held my hands so my booty would be pressed against his … well, his crotch.

"I turned to move away. Then he grabbed by jaw and planted a kiss. I giggled. Okay, I might have been a little intoxicated. But I was also shocked. I didn't know this guy's name. The whole time, no words were spoken. Finally, I walked away. After I came out of the bathroom, I went back to the main room, and saw this same guy kissing Lindsay Lohan. She was kind of straddling him. I said to myself, ‘What just happened here?'"

Kova's account is bound to please some of Lohan's friends, who've warned her that the playboy son of soccer star George Best is trouble.

Word is Lohan herself doesn't take the relationship too seriously. We hear that a few weeks ago at an L.A. club, she was snogging with Aussie baby-mogul Andy Valmorbida.

Safe to say, Best didn't leave Kova heartbroken. In fact, the smoking-hot, 23-year-old blond seems to have induced delirium in several famous men during the three-day Atlantis idyll.

At Thursday's birthday party for Stevie Wonder at the Cove, she was taken aback when single-again Michael Jordan did a fast break in her direction. "He was walking so intensely, I was a little nervous," she recalls. "He said, ‘Hi, who are you? I'm Leroy.' I knew he was Michael Jordan, but I played along. He asked if I wanted to come out on a boat with his friends. I passed on that one, but we did party together later at Aura."

We hear Kova stirred more than a sibling affection in "Brothers and Sisters" actor Dave Annable. "We were walking around arm in arm," she said guardedly. "I don't know who was holding up whom."

"Fantastic Four" star Chris Evans flamed on when he met her in an elevator. "I was going to the '70s party, so I was dressed like Roller Girl in ‘Boogie Nights.' I wound up having dinner with Chris," she says. "He's a very sweet guy."

Here she starts getting a little vague. "Can I help it if boys want to kiss me? I didn't start it!"
