Spinoff- Wierd Compliments
I know we have all had them. Those compliments that are a little off, but meant well.
This weekend, my daughter was walking around. Someone asked who DD belonged too. DH and I said us. SHe said we should make 10 more (and I think she said sell them) because she is so adorable.

I agree with the stranger. We need more beautiful people around. Tell DH that I'm holding the two of you responsible to populate the planet. I'm thinking you should keep them because not only is your kid beautiful, she's very smiley. She may become a grump if she had the wrong parents.

I got the same thing at my wedding from my (now former) boss. He was in the lobby of the reception hall before the wedding even started so he saw me when I first got there before taking pictures...he said "Heather....you're.....BEAUTIFUL"! He sounded....SHOCKED that I could actually clean up well! Or actually pay a lot of $ to clean up well!

I bought a pair of funky heels & said "Look what I bought!"
He said "I LOVE THEM! They're so unlike you."

ughh i hate thsi too bc i tend to have dark circles under my eyes its like hello anyone who knows me knows i have then tired or not so why bring attention to it? UGHH

ex-BM found me on myspace and friended me and after looking through my wedding pics sends me a message saying "you look great in your wedding pics, i didnt even recognize you!"...backhanded comments are so juvenile!

My boss told me that he tries not to make assumptions based on appearance and then thanked me for the great job I am doing.
In other words, he thought I was a blonde bimbo, but I seem to have some brains in there somewhere because I guess I am doing a good job!

Oh yeah thats the best!!! I've had a million people come up to me throughout my life and ask if I am okay, or they say get some sleep - its really nice and comforting to know that you look like crap. My circles are heritary thank you jack assss!

News 12 did a segment on our E-Shoot last year and when my Dad saw it he goes "wow, you looked GREAT" I was like "thanks Dad"-- so he goes "No really, I was blown away- you looked SO good- really thin- even thinner than you do in person!!"
I was like dummy-- that's my Dad for ya! Typical man

After I had lost some weight, I met my husband's boss for the first time and he said "wow, you don't look as fat as you do in that picture he has on his desk".
