Freddy update
He is officialy off dialysis. The doc called us this morning to tell us that he is taking out the catheter. The doc was ecstatic. He also didn't think Fred wold make it and thought the neurologist was nuts when he gave us hope.
Fred is getting more and more aware every day. He told us he is scared today about the next steps and I told him it was normal and don't worry that he is getting better. He says his head feels like jelly. He feels slow. I told him that was normal for what happened to him.
I am leaving for vacation tomorrow. I hope when I get back he is even better and in rehab.
If I can find internet, I will post. I don't expect to hear anything about Freddy though. I hope everything is ok with him while I'm gone. I really don't want to leave with him still in the hospital.
I will concentrate on me and DH and will have a good time.
Turks & Caicos here I come!
