Someone is going to get smacked
I have this huge event I am planning for work on Tuesday night.
I am in charge of all the logistics related to the event --hence Director of special events
apparently the department who is hosting the event doesn't realize, I DO NOT MAKE FOLLOW UP CALLS. THIS IS YOUR EVENT

I hate when there isn't clear communication between departments - that must be so frustrating. They should let you do your job as you do it. Good luck with the event!

My friend also has a work event on tuesday night....your event doesn't happen to be at Lincoln Center, does it?
