okay, I'm a dork and just recently noticed...
That you can have LIF friends.
I only figured this out the other day when someone I knew from LIW invited me to be her friend.
At least I am not lonely anymore - thanks to kittythestray. 
I can't believe it took me that long to catch on. I guess I don't read enough profiles or something.
