Another Ipod Question
I started with a mini and have HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of songs on there...then my computer crapped out, I got a new fancy shmancy ipod and forgot all about my mini as I got sick.
Well, now I want to try and get those songs OUT of my mini and back into my itunes somehow without ruining the library that is in there since I have now purchased new songs and have a new library of about 200

I spoke to my friend today at work about all the different things you can do in iPOD manual mode - he's the expert - it sounds to me that if you plug in your iPOD - put it in manual - and then drag the songs from your ipod icon into your library - that would work!

You can't take songs off your iPod using iTunes.
I downloaded Ephod. Plug in my iPod & select the drive. Then use the option to copy songs to a directory.
Let me know if you can't figure it out. I can always hunt around for my iPod & walk you through it.

I think I did it. It's copying.
WHEW! I really wasn't happy about losing almost 1k in songs
ok it copied...I see them in my itunes folder, still not appearing in my master itunes library though

You need to go to File/Add Folder to this Library & select the folders you moved over.
