How long does it take for the contracts
to be signed and fully executed? Is it at that point that you receive a closing date?

Re: How long does it take for the contracts
the seller's attny sent the contracts to our lawyer two days after we signed the binder.
We reviewed and signed the contracts about 2 days after this, but didn't release them to the seller for another 5 days b/c of a holiday in the middle and time to negotiate terms we wanted.
then the seller signed on the 5 day mark and then we were in full contract.
from there it's dependent on the title co and assessor's office to get their work done, and we closed 30 days later.

Re: How long does it take for the contracts
Our offer was accepted on 1/26 and our contracts were fully executed on 2/15.
ETA: Our lawyer received the contracts about a week and a half after our offer was accepted. He made a couple of changes but, the other lawyer didn't get back to him so it took a couple of days for our lawyer to track him down.

Re: How long does it take for the contracts
It take about a week to 2 weeks.
Closing date in the contract is an approx. As you get closer to the COntract closing date then a date is scheduled.

Re: How long does it take for the contracts
it took about two weeks for the contract to be fully executed... you will have your on or about date then, but you don't get an actual closing date until the very very end of EVERYTHING - after you have your loan committment, and all that good stuff.
