The bidding game
MY husband and I are currently playing the game with the sellers.
We are not going to go much higher. We love the house but there are a few concerns which I am sure will be answered by the engineer.. for example, the roof is new however the roof over the 2 car garage seems to bow somewhat, the windows would not be good for air conditioning, we'd have to up our aMP service for CAC. Which could get costly and the third concern is the block. The block is nice but a couple more blocks down the area starts to look more unkept than the block we are on...
This is so overwhelming and I really could use some help ladies.. Thanks

Re: The bidding game
It's definitely a tough process. Some of the concerns we had were not as bad as it turned out. You can also use the info you get from your engineer to go back to the sellers and either get them to repair/replace OR (which I prefer...) get them to adjust the price and you get someone to do the work.

Re: The bidding game
The bidding game SUX. We put in an offer on a house 2 weeks ago and still don't know if it will be accepted bc the house is going up for a short sale so the bank has to accept our offer and it is such a LONG process. DH and I are going crazy! Good luck to you - I know how frustrating it is!
