Resources for finding 55+ housing on LI?
My mother is considering selling her house and moving into a 55+ community. Are there any online resources to see what is out there?

I am not sure if there is but I am a real estate attorney and we represent new construction sellers. There is 55+ in Lake Grove--Encore Lake Grove, Central Islip---Islip Landing Condo, Meadowbrooke Point (we don't represent them but I know of them), Plainview-Seasons at Plainview, East Meadow--BelAire. Those are all the ones I can think of right now but I am sure there is an option on mlsli to choose 55+. FM me if you have any questions.

Also contact the county department of aging and they should be able to advise regarding any subsidized housing, residency and income requirements, etc.
