We Taped it. Great Bathtroom!! The tile looks so good! Did you pick out everything or did they? and then you gave approval? Or did they just say here is everything!?

Thanks! I  the tile too! Basically we have no input, other than what we put in the application. When I filled out the application, I described what I wanted for the bathroom - I asked for a "cottage style" bathroom (I meant NEW ENGLAND cottage, not Florida, Coral Gables cottage), and I asked specifically for wainscotting, brushed nickel fixtures, a stand-alone clawfoot tub with separate shower, and double sink.
During the initial phase, they came out to the house to "scout" us, and filmed us, and in that film, they had us describe exactly what we wanted. Once they pick you, they send the application and film to the designer, who has all authority from there. But, as you can see, they gave me virtually everything I asked for, except the double sink - and the paint color, but that's my fault for not specifying that I wanted a new england style bathroom.
So, while they have all authority over what it will look like, and don't really reveal the total design until the first day of production, they take into consideration the style of your house and decorations, and your requests.

I had to find this post because I just finally got to watch the episode last night (I DVR'd it).
You guys are so cute!! Your DH was fun. It was great seeing cutie pie Alex too! And the bathroom really came out great!!
