Where to find birdhouses?
Where on LI is a good place to buy a nice birdhouse? I'm looking for one already painted, decorated, etc.
I saw them in Smith and Hawken but I'm trying not to break the bank 
Anywhere else?

my favorite birhouses are the ones i got at michaels & painted with the kids. they just need a really good coat of clear over the whole thing after you paint it.
nurseries, target, walmart, ace hardware all have a few too.

Wild Bird Stores, there is one in Stony Brook I think. I really want to go there, but I'm afraid I'll go crazy and come back with too much stuff...
Just last weekend I got a bird bath at a small family owned nursery - I forget the name but its on Main street in Farmingdale. They had a good selection of houses, feeders and baths.
