I forgive my MIL almost everyday for the fact that she lives with us and makes our life helll. Somedays are easier than others.

I forgave my brother for abusing me years ago. I had to.

when a former friend was a complete ahole during my wedding planning. so much an ahole that i kicked her out of my BP and didnt talk to her again until recently...it took almost 2 years but i forgave! ...but i dont forget!

My SIL made my life hell for the first 2 years of my marriage and made me question myself all around...
I pushed my DH to reconnect after not speaking for 2 years because I knew it was killing him not seeing his nieces...

-forgave my mother for forgetting my birthday
-forgave my brother for not coming to my college graduation (even though he said he was coming and then he didn't even tell me he WASN'T coming)
-forgave the same brother for not showing up and helping me out when our mother had cancer, even when he said he would come. Do you see a pattern here? (he also said he was coming to my wedding and then told everyone in my family 1 day before, except for me... that he wasn't coming. I will NOT forgive him for that and we no longer talk).

My dad for many reasons. Than one day I realized I give so many other people a 2nd and 3rd chance why not him.
So I did and we have a relationship again. Not the best, but at least we talk. And I know it makes him happy.

I wish I felt it. I just feel so defeated like I have a million miles to go.
Thanks for the praise. I know one day I will see the fruits of my labor.
He deserved a second chance. He was always in pain. He couldn't handle life. Not his fault.
