Serious question about cramping
Some of you may have read about my awful bout with indigestion last night. My stomach also hurt pretty much the whole beginning of the day.
My question is this, can all of that give me cramps? I have had pretty noticeable cramps today, and it hurts when I press on my abdomen and when I cough. Almost like a soreness from doing too many crunches. Is that normal?

Re: Serious question about cramping
When I got sick this past weekend, I had terrible cramps and it was scary. Now, I am extremely sore from throwing up (more in my neck and upper abdomen). The muscles tense when you have such bad indigestion or you throw up. I would not worry, but you may want to call your doctor. I will probably mention my cramps when I speak to my doctor this week about the ultrascreen.

Re: Serious question about cramping
i'm not sure about the connection between the indigestion and the aches/cramps - but i will say that i have had all of the above during my pregnancy so far.
early on, like in my 5th-6th weeks, it KILLED every time i coughed. so bad that every time i actually did cough i would run to the bathroom to check my panties and make sure i wasn't miscarrying
i have also had cramps on and off. a lot in the beginning, and then they faded. last week, at 15 weeks, they made a reappearance. i think the cramping represents growth spurts...
and about the indigestion... all i can say is, TUMS. MYLANTA. ZANTAC.
