I need shower gift help
I have a shower this weekend - it's one of my husbands friends fiances. Well, she really didn't register for anything at all - and whatever she did register for is gone.
Also - his friends don't spend that much money on gifts - and I'm not used to that - I tend to spend too much money -- but I've realized that the girls spend about $50.00 on each other.
What can I get for $50?? I am the type that really likes to go in with a good gift - can I even do it on that budget? What do I do since there is nothing left on her registry? Do you have any unique ideas at all? HELP Please!

Do you know where they are going on their honeymoon? If it's a beachy destination, Target has some cute beach totes that you could fill with sunblock, a fun novel to read on the beach, a Fodors book for where they are going, etc.

One of my friends put together a wine/bar basket.
She got a wine bucket and filled it with - coasters, wine charms, cheese knife speader, corkscrew etc. and got a set 4 of Reidel glasses.
What about something like a hostess basket of things if they have a party or a fondue package with pot, recipe book, plates, etc.
Or something else of that nature.

I like themed baskets...
You could easily do an Italian basket: Big Pasta Dish as your base, pretty serving spoons, assorted pasta shapes, really good olive oil with ceramic / glass olive oil bottle, dipping bowls for bread, spices to flavor the olive oil for dipping... etc.
I have also seen a "mexican themed" basket similar to the above, but with a chip and dip tray, good salsa and chips, quesadilla maker, etc.

I decided on doing a margerita type gift. I got them 6 margerita glasses, a matching pitcher, two tubs of mixes and some salt. I'll try and make it all pretty now.
