The 2WW- deja vu
So I was asked to interview for a huge promotion a couple weeks ago. So I did, but I am totally feeling deja vu right now to my 2WW. I was told they will make a decision by the end of next week.
I really wasnt looking for this, but all of the sudden it was in front of me. Here is the dejavu part. I want it, and I am starting to get excited about it. I am thinking about all the ways my life will change. I am thinking about the new clothes I will need, the new car I will need. How it will effect my life. How I will coordinate the new job around my DH & DS schedules. How it will change my friendships...
I want to be hopeful and excited and think about all the awesome ways my life will change. But I am afraid that I wont get what I want so I am also trying to prepare myself that my life will not be changing. I tell myself I will be OK with that, I love my job now. My life is comfortable. I know what to expect from my job now. I tell myself either way will be OK, because I am so afraid of failure.
Are you seeing the similarities here??
So you know how you feel at about 10dpo.... thats about how I feel now and I think I am going to be sick.

Pauline I just have such a good feeling about this job opportunity for you. As my mom says, hope for the best, and plan for the worst...but in this case I think you may get an answer pretty quickly and I am praying it is a BFP!!!
I totally see the similarities....impossible not to!! Let's hope this is the start of positive results...

Of course there are huge similarities. A 2WW is a 2WW, and it's torturous.
But, I have to agree with Kara - this has been a very positive process for you so I have a very good feeling about this job and think you may have your BFP!!!

ITs the law of attraction....our lives simulate our lives...one thing morphs to another. Happens all the time....scary and makes us think TOO much I think .
You will get through this 2ww as you have the others.

At least now you have soemthing else exciting to think about whille you are in the 2ww. I always find keeping your mind occupied is the best thing.

But like in the 2ww, it's all about taking a chance. A chance that some good might come of it, that your life will change for the better. But if it is in fact a bfn, you need to look at all of the positives that you started the "cycle" out with in the first place. A happy home, a loving dh, a great ds.
