So, a little update on my job!
I never thought I could be happy at work again. Don't get me wrong, it's tons of work, with 2 issues closing within days of one another; I counted and I edit about 50 articles (2,000-6,000 words) in a three-week time period and will do this each month! I have a copyeditor who reads all my work, and he finds any silly thing I might have missed. Anyway, yesterday the first production cycle finished and I closed my first issue. Out of nowhere, at about 6:00 yesterday, one of the art directors goes, "Lana's first MD {magazine} everyone!" And the entire room started clapping. I think I almost cried! Guess it just feels good to be told "good job" or "thank you." (now, a raise, please) LOL! Kidding!
I'm just sorry I'm missing things here and can't be on as much.
