This weekend - UPDATED
is going to be a little difficult as Sunday is my Stepdad's memorial gathering. This has been in the planning stages since he passed away in December.
It will be really hard but at the same time it will be really nice. My stepdad was Scottish and my stepbrother has a friend that will be there playing the bagpipes & the fiddle and my DH will be singing a Scottish song. Please just keep my whole family in your prayers...especially my mom. 
UPDATE: Everything went perfectly! Exactly as he would have wanted & exactly at the place he loved. Many got up & spoke of my stepdad and their relationship to him. My niece & her 2 friends sang a song, my DH sang a Scottish Hymn. There was plenty of food, drinks, laughter & tears. My brother put together a great slide show of pictures from his life in Scotland, Britian & the US. Near the end my stepbrother read a poem then sang a small piece acapela (sp?) and as soon as he finished the bagpipes started playing Amazing Grace and just as he did the sun came out!

Ok all the food that we have to bring is ready to go. Now I need to o find something to wear......I have no idea what I should wear!
