was kinda hoping they wouldn't want my 2 weeks
I just gave notice at my job that may 11 will be my last day. thing is, i've only been here 1.5 months so I don't even have 2 weeks worth of stuff to wrap up. what the heck am i going to do with myself for the next two weeks? any ideas???? know of any good websites to play on (besides this one?)

I wouldnt have given two weeks then. I was at my former job (hi level) for 5 months and I only gave a week. Some friends thought I was wrong, but it was a feild (retail) I knew I was never going back to. I would sit with themon Wed or Thurs, tell them you are all up to speed and your new job is asking for you to come in that Monday.

This happened to me at Goldman. They really didnt need me but they made me stay. Then, on my last day i planned to leave at 1 and even though I had sat there, doing nothing for two weeks, they asked me to stay the whole day and do something. I told them they could pretty much forget about it!
