Here is my Ant and spider story!
Yesterday morning - found 3 ants - one on the ceiling, one on the microwave and one on the floor (in the kitchen). Yay us!
Then I'm scared shitless..I go to wash the dishes at night (we do not have a dishwasher) and paranoid me shakes the rubber gloves -- and then a BLACK SPIDER flies out of it and lands in the sink.
I shreiked...DH washed the dishes.
I'm so grossed out - I think I need to move to Antartica.

Eiw. Ants aren't as bad as spiders to me. The white spiders are the ones that freak me out.
I have a big glass display case with all my orchids inside and I found an ugly hairy spider in there one day.
I freaked. Ran to the computer to find out what this thing was.
I found out it eats bugs! And doesn't make a web. They call it a jumping spider.
Since I had ants in the orchidarium too, I left him in there. And within 2 days, the ants were gone!
So I started to like him, since he was afraid of me and would hide when I opened the door.
So I named him fuzzy and took a picture of him.
Don't click here if you don't like spiders!

Holy Mother of God....
I'm FREAKING out just reading this... I truly think I go insane when I see a spider...heck even read or hear about them.
I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not looking to finding them on my car... There are trees everywhere around here....to me that means spiders jumping and climbing in my car!
Several times I found myself driving 90 mph with *them* in my car...like driving faster meant I was getting away from it...

Tellme you're kidding- you took that picture? that is SOME camera.
I don't mind spiders- I don't love em, but I don't freak out. I did get bit by a spider once, in my sleep- and my hand swelled up like a balloon.
ETA- now, Mosquitos- that's a different story- I FREAK. Can not settle down once I seeone. Even outside.

Gross but very cool. That was way closer than I anticipated

I have a macro feature on my lens. I'm surprised he sat there and posed for me. 
I once found a Brown Recluse spider in a bathroom at a campground upstate. Now THAT was freakin scary. They can kill you!

Wouldn't you know it - last night - a big white spider crawled right down his window - I said "SEEEEEEEEEEE???!!!!"

So funny- I have to tuck my tail between my legs- Apparantly I am more intimidated by spiders than I thought-
we were in the car yesterday, and a big (tiny) black hairy jumping spider was on Victors coat- I freaked.
