2 closings in one day?
How on earth do you do this? We're selling our house and buying a new one and the closings are both supposed to be on June 4th.  How do you handle the movers??

Hmmm - well can one of you go to the closings and the others stay behind with the movers? That is going to be one very busy day though!!!!!

I'm jealous Lisa, we have to move twice!!
I would do like LuLu said but then for the other closing give power attorney to your attorney so you do not have to be their. I also suggest having everything packed so you are not running back to your condo.
Where are you guys moving to? Will we be still close to each other?

this was how ours was too- the lady buying our condo gave us the rest of the day to move our stuff out of the condo and into our house, plus she was not moving in right away anyway-she was painting and pulling up our carpet-so that helped.... our house was empty-the owners had moved out prior and allowed us to move some stuff in.. it worked out well for us

Thanks! I think we're going to try to arrange to not be at the closing for our sale and just go to the one for the purchase. I can probably have a family member be around for the movers, but I still can't figure out how we're going to get all of our stuff out in time!
