How many of you registered for...
A travel system (which we are) and then a car seat for when the baby gets bigger? Do I register for this or just buy it when we need it?

I registered for both. I have the quattro tour travel system and I registered for a Britax Marathon for when she grew out of the infant seat.
I also registered for the stroller frame for quick trips and along the way I picked up my Peg Pliko P3.
ETA: I am stroller addicted!! This is why I am having the hardest time finding a double!

I registed for the infant seat and stroller(not a travel system) and the convertible seat for when they are older...both have been purchased already! Go for it! Worst case, it doesn't get purchased, but you never know!

I have the travel system and an extra car seat for DH.
I did not register for a convertible car seat. I will purchase one later.

got all of them. the travel system is a wonderful invention!! My dd is 8 mths and we still use the infant seat and put it in the stroller when she is sleeping. Definitely a huge convienence!

I agree 110%.
Some babies don't even go into the convertible til they are one. I would feel silly having someone buy something that wouldn't even be used for a year.

I have the travel system, a snap and go and a convertible car set. My family and friends have been VERY generous with us!! We are lucky! My friends had a brand new convertible seat they didnt use so we have it stored for when we outgrow the infant seat... The other items were given to us at our shower...
